Online Management System
The learning management system (LMS) of St James College is a software application or web-based technology used to plan, implement and assess a specific learning process. It is used for e-learning practices that is operated by teachers and students
A learning management system provides a teacher with a way to create and deliver content, monitor student participation and assess student performance.
The main LMS facilities used and provided by the institution were whatsapp group, google classroom, zoom platform, google meet and the internal college software campus7.
For all the batches teachers created whatsapp groups to communicate with the students, to give recorded audio classes and for giving assignments.
The faculty of the college used google classroom for giving assignments, to upload video and audio recorded classes and power point presentations, convey messages and conducting exams through online mode. The students have been submitting their assignments within the stipulated time.
Teachers take live video classes through various online platforms. Apart from traditional classroom teaching students also get different opportunities for theory classes and practical sessions. Practical sessions were carried out by giving scenarios, doing discussions and conducting presentations. Students are actively participating in the learning process.
At the same time the institutional level internal software is also used for teaching and learning process. Campus7 was initiated by the institution for the easy mode teaching and learning.
