The core values of St. James College of Nursing are envisaged from the Vision and Mission of the Institution and is organized under five domains

• Caring- Foundational value inculcated in the students emphasizing compassion, empathy, and a commitment to the well-being of patients by providing holistic health care.
• Integrity- Preparing the future nurses instilling in them ethical principles, honesty, truthfulness and professionalism in all aspects of nursing practice..
• Excellence- Ensuring competence in patient care fostering critical thinking, clinical skills, evidence-based practice and lifelong learning to be innovative and adaptive making a positive impact in their communities.
• Compassion- Empathetic concern towards the suffering individuals irrespective of caste and creed.
• Advocacy- Preparing nursing graduates capable of empowering patients to make informed decisions about their care and ensuring they receive appropriate resources and support.
