Student Nurses Association (SNA)

Student Nurses Association is constituted to initiate student leadership, promote cultural and educational activities, and network and connect with fellow nursing students for advice and support.

Objectives:

• To help students to uphold the dignity of the profession for which they are qualifying.
• To encourage leadership abilities and help students to advance in their profession.
• To encourage the students to participate actively in curricular and co-curricular activities.

Functions

• To encourage the students to participate in various sports and cultural activities
• To act as a liaison between nursing faculty and nursing students.
• Plans calendar of events every year.
• Conducts General Body meetings once a year and executive meetings as and when required.
• Elects SNA office bearers once a year.
• Celebrates various national days and festivals.
• Maintain documents and registers of meetings and financial expenditures.
